General Survival Strategies

Power Management

Power is your most valuable resource. Here's how to conserve it:

  • Only close doors when absolutely necessary
  • Check cameras strategically, not constantly
  • Use lights sparingly to check blind spots
  • Learn the audio cues so you know when danger is near
  • Keep at least 10% power for the final hour

Audio Cues

Listen carefully to these sounds:

  • Footsteps indicate animatronic movement
  • Static noise on cameras means an animatronic is nearby
  • Breathing sounds mean danger is close
  • Music box winding down signals impending threat

Time Management

Each night lasts from 12 AM to 6 AM (approximately 8-9 minutes in real time). Here's how difficulty progresses:

Hour Difficulty Level What to Expect
12 AM Low Animatronics start becoming active. Good time to learn patterns.
1 AM Low-Medium First movements detected. Stay alert.
2 AM Medium Activity increases. More frequent movements.
3 AM Medium-High Most dangerous period. Stay focused.
4 AM High Peak aggression. Use everything you've learned.
5 AM Very High Final stretch. Animatronics are most aggressive.

Note: Night difficulty may vary based on game updates and your chosen settings. These guides provide general strategies that should help you adapt to any situation.
